A few days ago Apple unleashed the iPad on the world.  After a few days to let the initial awe soak in I found myself underwhelmed.  Not by the device itself, but more, by the reception by the general public.  My phone started ringing off the hook with people asking me one question…”Why do I need this?”  This question seemed to bother me a lot for the first day or two.  I was not sure why I needed it, much less why anyone else would.  I just knew that I had to have one.  Now that I have had a few days to let the whole concept marinate I will finally present you with my thoughts.
