New version of Chrome OS released!

4 February 2010 30 views No Comment

Google’s Chrome OS is still more than half a year away from a full release, but being that the software is open source people have the opportunity to dig into the source and play around.  Hexxeh has been compiling versions of the OS for a little while now, but he just recently release a version that can update itself.  Thats pretty huge since it is kind of a pain to keep burning a new image each time.  If you are curious what all the fuss is about you can download the latest version here.
