Yes, I did have to make the picture that large. I can not express how big this phone really is. Don’t get my wrong, I love my Droid, but I think this truly is the first “iPhone Killer” that can live up to the name. I breaks my heart that this phone is only available on Sprint. Hopefully Verizen will drive a few truckloads of money over to HTC and get this on VZW.

Motorola has stated on their Facebook page that they would be deploying Android 2.1 to the device “this week”. I, for one, am ecstatic about this and it makes me feel better about hopping on the Droid bandwagon mere months before the Nexus One came out. TechCrunch is reporting that this update should include multi-touch and Google Goggles (which has potential, but is still pretty weak).

Google’s Nexus One is heading for AT&T and I am very curious as to how it will do. You see, I don’t really have any inherent problem with the iPhone, but I don’t believe that Google’s latest attempt will be enough to make iPhone suers jump ship. Everyone I know that has an iPhone has nothing but excellent things to say about their phone…its AT&T that they will bash, unforgivingly, into the ground.
